Eminem Recovery Road
This post is about the interview on 60 minutes with Eminem.  It was about how he has recovered from his dark stages from being a poor little boy, to being famous, to doing drugs, and to recovering from a lot of his hate he had and his drug abuse.  We got to learn a lot about Eminem, whose real name is Marshall.  This video created a purpose that Eminem has a heart and is on the road to recovery.
Eminem for the Win
Eminem is not a bad guy or hateful like everyone thinks.  He says some of the things he says just for intertainment like all the curse words he says, he doesn't actually do that in his real life with his family.  He has gone through some really bad things, which he has overcame, but there is still some hate he has that will never go away.  He speaks the truth, and he expresses his hate through his music, and whatever is going on in his life in the moment.  He writes his own music, so if you don't like his music or what he represents then don't listen to him, but some people really find the heart in his music.

Why: to show people why Eminem does and says the things he does, and to show he has changed and is on the road to recovery, and just how successful he is 
How: it happened with an interview with Anderson Cooper, and they thought he was important enough to have an interview.  Eminem really wanted to do this interview beacuase he wanted to show people he is clean and that he has changed, and that he is GOING TO MAKE A COMEBACK.

Child of Rage Blogger Outline

Title: Child of Rage
 Intro: This post is about the video documentary, Child of Rage about a little girl named Beth that has no heart, no conscience because of her birth father that was abusive and a molester.  The reader needs this information that just know about things, know that this stuff does happen, to know why it is not okay to abusive our kids, and maybe have some kind of compassion for this girl.  The purpose this video served is to treat people nicely because if you don't your negativity and stick to them.
Headline: Beth Rages  
Most would think this child should be locked up or killed, but I don't think so.  First, she has gotten better, but even if she didn't I would continue to work on her.  There are many things you can do to help her like send her to a facility like her parents did in the video, and give her extensive therapy.  Anyone with any problems can get better or make improvements.

WHAT: Beth got abused as a child, and when she got adopted she had so much anger, it carried on with her, and she became a girl that wanted to kill and be mean, so they made a documentary about her
WHERE: The South
WHEN: the 80's
WHY: this documentary happened because it probably wanted to inform people about these things, and that all children aren't that sweet.
HOW: this child of rage went to therapy, and her therapist filmed her sessions, so they then made a documentary about it.
Beth, a little girl got abused and molested as a child, and all that abusive carried on with her to her actually being the abuser.  It's a little bit weird that a sweet looking girl would be abusive like this, but in a way she was sick with no conscience.  Children that are not loved or held "literally" as a child will grow up to have social issues, and that is proved scientifically.  Some would also say that they would love to give her "an old fashioned woolen" or even kill her themselves, but all that is how she got to be how she was in the first place.  This girl is better now based on what the video said, so she was a raged child that became a sweet child, but one thing she was not was a bad child.        

Indigo Kids and Autism Kids

Some kids in the world have special physic powers, but some people don't believe that that is possible.  There was a family that came on a talk show to talk about their indigo kids.  Apparently one of the kids is her mom's mom in a kid form.  They see things that people don't see, and they know stuff that will happen in the future.  I think Indigo kids are real.

Autism-What would you do?
The month of May is Autism month.  1 out of 88 children are bound to get autism.  Autism is a genetic disease that effects a person's mental health, and makes them act out in a sort of bad way, but they can't help it.  The show, What Would You Do?, did a segment on it.  They had a family with a boy with autism go to a restaurant, and made the boy with autism act out.  They also planted another actor that just dined at the restaurant, and made him "bash" the little boy, and the point was to see how people at the restaurant respond to his mean comments.  They all responded by standing up for the boy with autism, and saying that the man speaking ruddily about him was wrong.  The point of autism month is to show awareness, and maybe raise some money to find a cure, but remember, if you see a person with autism, and if that person is acting out, remember to just cut that person some slack because they can't help it. 

segregated proms

          I knew there was still racism in the world today, and there always will be, but I didn't know that it existed like this by having segregated proms in some parts of the South.  I do understand that since the school isn't funding the proms that people can do whatever they want if they are funding it, but I still think its the schools fault, and they could do something about this.  
          In some parts of the south there is still segregated proms.  There is a white prom, and there is a prom for everybody else that isn't white.  If a non white person was to go to the white prom, they would be kicked out.  It is super sad for me to hear about this, and I just want to go to those schools and tell them that it is wrong.

Don't Text and Drive

This text and drive video was all boys in a car, telling you not to text and drive, and basically where to put your phone in your car, so you won't text and drive.  Although this video was highly funny because they were singing funny, I thought it was sort of making a mockery of texting and driving.  It was really short, and I think it could of been longer, but I can say that it was good, but not great, and I am only saying critiscism because everything can have critiscism in it.

Why: they were probably doing this psa for school, but also to tell people not to text and drive
How:  It happened by the boys filming probably for class this video, and they probably did it because texting and driving is a very common thing that needs to be stopped!

 Brazil is a Soccer Nation
Intro: This video was about a girl who wants to play soccer, but her family and her nation doesn't want her to because she is a girl, and she can hurt herself.  She plays for a boys team though.  This video services a purpose that girls still don't have equal rights, and that girls should be allowed to do anything boys can do.
Girl Power
Point 1: Girls should be allowed to play soccer in Brazil.  Soccer is fun to some people, and girls should get to experience that fun.  Its not like playing soccer hurts someone, its just a sport and people shouldn't be so uptight about those things.

Point 2:  I do feel like that America has got with the program of letting girls do anything boys can do, but other countries like Brazil haven't and that is a problem.  We, or somebody needs to change that, and women especially need to be more assertive, and stand up for their rights.

Point 3:  Everyone just needs to have more of an open mind about things.  This girl in the video was brave and stood up to her parents and nation, and sometimes you have to do that.  You have to do what is right.

Why:  To inform people that people are still against girls in some ways in that they don't have equal rights to boys.  To inform that it is not right for girls to not do something that they want to do, but boys can. 
How:  In more so Brazil, and other foreign countries girls have not gotten the same rights as guys.  I guess the girls were sick of it especially this girl, and the video wasn't just to make rights in soccer equal to girls, but for everything.  Hopefully this video can give meaning to the people that are against women's rights.

Brazil's Olympics Preparation
Intro: this video/post is about how these indigenous people living in Brazil are fighting for their home, but the government wants to tare it down because it is not in a good shape, and the fact that it is next to a new stadium for the World Cup and the Olympics is not a good look.

This video was to try to spread to people that we shouldn't tare their place down because their is history their.  It is not right for us to tare it down because that is their home, and there probably is no place that will accept them then that place.  I do think they made a good point in saying that when all the sports fans come they will need something to do.  They can go visit the indigenous people.

Blogger-Mex. Tiger and the church gays

My post is about how gay church's are rising on Brazil, especially one in Sao Paulo.  People should know about this because people need to be aware that the gay community is becoming stronger, and they need somewhere to pray too.  The purpose of this video is to just make people more aware, and show people that the world is changing, and they really need to be more accepting.

The Rising of the Gay Churches

It is important to have gay churches because G-d loves everyone no matter what anybody else has to say.  Gays are people too, and if they want to be with G-d, they deserve places to pray.  Gays have a really hard time in life of not be accepted by others, and it actually really hurts them a lot.

Now, the gays have built their on churches, and then are quite happy with them, but they still want the churches to grow.  Gays have become more accepted by others, but not enough for them to be satisfied, so we need to work harder.

Even though most of us "straight" people might not believe in gays, or transexuals, we need to be accepting because nothing we do is going to change their minds.  Even though you might not want to believe that gays are human beings they are, so we need to make them feel like they are, so if they want their own churches, let them have it.  In this video, you can see that these people aren't bad people, and just need some love.

Why: This video was made to show people that we need to be more accepting of gays, and that they believe in G-d, and that we need to be more flexible with our minds to letting having gay church's all around the world.
How (precipitating events)- I guess this video was made because since "being gay" became known, most people haven't been accepting towards it.  This video shows that people have become more accepting, and the gay community is beginning to "stand up for themselves," and not be so shy with it.  This video is also to show that just because someone is gay, doesn't mean they don't believe in G-d.  This video of course shows that gay church's are begging to happen, and that we need to be accepting.

How: The news took place by the reporter reporting it, and because people should know about what they are drinking especially if it is a drink like Mezcal.

What: The Taliban shot Malala Yousafzai five months ago, and now she is ready to go back to school.  It took the doctors a long time to fix her, but after reconstructing her skull, and recovering, she is fine.  Yousafzai is really excited to go back to school.
Why: This is a newsworthy event because people thought this girl wouldn't make it after being shot in the head, but she did, and people are interested probably into what is happening with the girl now.
How: This news event took place because the Taliban shot this girl, and now she is a world sensation especially in the topic of education.

1.    Briefly describe the basic plot or storyline.  Snoop Dogg in this documentary about himself is growing as a human and as an artist.  He takes a spiritual trip to Jamaica where he transforms into Snoop Lion.  He has been rapping his whole life, but now, 41 years-old, he has realized the hustler life isn’t for him anymore.  When he visits Trench Town, Snoop sees the wisdom of the Nyabinghi community elders in finding a new direction, while he reflects on his past and future while getting into the Rastafarian culture.  While he was in a meeting with Bunny Wailer, he embraces his new identity, Snoop Lion.

2.   Identify the time and place of the film.  The film is in Jamaica in 2012.

1.   Describe the main character(s). Explain their role and the actors who play them. Snoop dogg was basically the only main character in this documentary.  His role was basically going to Jamaica to be rastafarian because he wanted to come out of the bad self he was.  At the end he turns to Snoop Lion, and comes out of being a dog in every sense of that word.

4.   Explain: What was the introduction and ending? Were they creative? The introduction was cool in that he was just singing some random beats, and the ending was cool and happy with Jamaican music playing.  The intro and the ending was just alright.

5.   Camera work: Was it effective? Explain how it was good or bad.  The camera work was very good with good cuts, and good lighting.  It had close ups when it needed close ups and it had medium shots when it needed them too.

1.    Briefly describe the basic plot or storyline. Before there was Amityville, there was a Harrisville.  This is based on a true story, and this movie tells the horrifying tale of how paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terroized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse.  The Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.

2.   Identify the time and place of the film. This movie is in Amityville New York in 1973

3.   Describe the main character(s). Explain their role and the actors who play them. The main character is the mom of the house who is Vera Farmiga who plays Lorraine Warren.  She moves into this house and can’t get  away from the ghosts until the spirits lock her in the basement.

4.   Explain: What was the introduction and ending? Were they creative? The introduction was sort of happy with the family playing hide and seek, and the end was really scary with the spirits locking the mom in the basement.  It was creative.

5.   Camera work: Was it effective? Explain how it was good or bad. I don’t like horror films, but for people that do like them, they will like this movie.  The camera work made it even more scarier, which was effective.

1.    Briefly describe the basic plot or storyline. A crash landing leaves a teenager kitai raige (Jaden Smith) and his legendary father Cypher (Will Smith) stranded on Earth 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape.  With Cypher critically hurt, Kitai must go on a journey to get help, facing weird, scary creatures that now rule the world.  They must learn to work together and trust one another if they want any chance of returning home.

1.   Describe the main character(s). Explain their role and the actors who play them. Will Smith-who plays Cypher is Kitai’s dad who is really Jaden Smith’s dad, and he is like a commander of rangers, but one day they get in this crash and his son and him have to work together to get help

Jaden Smith- plays Kitai who is Cypher’s son who isn’t the best ranger, but when him and his son get in this crash they must learn to work together to get help

Were they creative?  The introduction was showing jaden smith sort of not succeeding of being a ranger, and the ending was very powerful with a lot of action scenes, with Will Smith’s voice being a voice over saying a powerful speech.  they were really creative and that they both had voice overs of someone saying stuff, and that sounded really good.

5.   Camera work: Was it effective? Explain how it was good or bad. The camera work was really effective and good in that it had a lot of different types of shots.

1.    Briefly describe the basic plot or storyline. It is about Iron Man (Tony Stark) who goes against an enemy whose has reached no bounds.  When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he goes on a quest to find those responsible.  This journey tests him all through it.  With his back against the wall, he is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him.  As he fights his way back, he discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Robert Downey Jr.- plays iron man and is there to save the world

Were they creative?  the introduction is Robert’s voice, over the video, and is talking about him nowadays, and the ending is iron man calling back up, which was really cool because a bunch of iron man looking things came.  I would say that the intro and ending was pretty good, especially the ending

1.    Briefly describe the basic plot or storyline. Sparks fly when Wade Walker (Craig Robinson) crashes the preppy Peeples annual reunion in the Hamptons to ask for their daughter Grace’s (Kerry Washington) hand in marriage.  Wade might be a fish out of water among this perfect family, but he’s not about to let her go.  Instead, in a wild weekend of fun, dysfunction and hilarious surprises, Wade is about to discover there’s room for all kinds of Peeples in this family, no matter their differences.

Were they creative?  The introduction was a little bit fast and it starts with Wade and Grace deciding to meet Grace’s folks.  The Ending was really funny with Wade seeing Grace dad’s “boobs,” and he said it was going to scare him for life.  They were good.

1.    Briefly describe the basic plot or storyline. Seth Green (The Italian Job and Austin Powers), Luke, 25, is autistic and has lived a sheltered life with his grandparents.  But his world is turned upside down when his grandmother dies and he is forced to live with his dysfunctional relatives who have no patience for him or his senile grandfather, whom they quickly force into a nursing home.  Luke is left with his grandfather’s final semi-coherent words: “Get a job. Find a girl.  Live your own life.  Be a man!”  For the first time in his life, Luke has a mission.  He is about to go on a journey.

4.   Explain: What was the introduction and ending? Were they creative?  The introduction is Luke coming to live with his weird relatives.  The ending is weird when Luke just says he likes pancakes.  It is a creative intro and ending though for this movie.

Why or Why not?  If you like Indie types of movies you would love this movie, but if you don’t you wouldn’t....Luke, the autistic guy, in my opinion wasn’t a good actor for the part...I have watched a few movies with actors playing autistic parts, and they did a much better job than he did to me
