In Sandy Springs, Georgia the Police Detectives issued a felony murder warrant Tuesday for a babysitter in the death of an infant.  According to police, Caris Ayala was babysitting a 5-month-old boy on October 5th when the child became unresponsive and was taken to Children's Hospital of Atlanta by ambulance.  Police said the child had severe brain injuries and stayed in critical condition. He was removed from life support and died October 26th.
Detectives interviewed the child's parents and Ayala. A second interview request with Ayala came from Sandy Springs detectives, and an attorney got in touch with detectives and made arrangements to talk to Ayala once more.  Ayala never showed up for the interview at her attorney's office, and has not been seen nor heard of since.  Police said they believe Ayala is traveling with her husband, Noe Castillo-Ramirez, and their 7-month-old child. A criminal warrant for hindering has been issued for Castillo-Ramirez.  Police believe the couple may have left the country, or they may be attempting to.
