Israeli airstrikes hit Palestinian targets in Gaza overnight, making direct hits on a "terror tunnel" and a weapons storage facility. Militants have launched more than 110 rockets since Saturday too. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) will not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli civilians, and will operate against anyone who uses terror against the State of Israeli. The Hamas terror organization is the one responsible for any terrorist activity emanating from the Gaza Strip.The strikers came a day after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel is ready to escalate its military response to attacks from Gaza. Israeli forces are already striking at terror groups in Gaza that are behind the attacks. The Palestinian death toll from Sunday's violence was six. More than 30 Palestinians have been wounded, with 10 of them in critical condition. Initial reports say four Israeli civilians were wounded by the rocket attacks. Four Israeli soldiers were also wounded on Saturday. Also, due to continuous rocket attacks from Gaza, school was canceled Sunday in some Israeli communities. There needs to be a stop to this madness going on in the Middle East!
