Denzel Washington stars as Whip Witaker, who is a seasoned pilot, who amazingly crash lands his plane after a mid-air catastrophe, saving nearly everybody on board. After the crash, Whip is thought of as a hero, but as more is discovered, more questions than answers arise to who or what was really at fault and what really happened on that plane. The movie seems like its a good one, and that it is totally worth seeing.
Movie: The Man with Iron Fists
Making his debut as a big-screen director and a leading role, RZA-alongside a great international cast led by Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu-tells the story of warriors, assassins, and a lone outsider hero in the nineteenth-century China who must unite to ruin the clan trator who would destroy them all. Since his arrival in China's Jungle Village, the town's blacksmith (RZA) has been forced by radical tribal factions to create great tools of destruction. When the clan's great war boils over, the stranger channels an ancient energy to transform himself into a human weapon. As he fights with iconic heroes and against villains, one man must hook this power to become savior of his adopted people. This movie is a rated R, 1 hour and 35 minute long movie. It is an action and adventure movie that is directed by RZA. The weekend gross for this movie is $7.9M. The total gross is also $7.9M. The theater average is $4.2k. This movie that came into theaters November the 2nd, doesn't seem like my kind of movie at all, but it does probably appeal to some people that like action and adventure movies though.
Movie: Wreck-It Ralph
Wreck-It Ralph is about a guy named Ralph (John C. Reilly) who is tired of being overshadowed by Fix-It Felix (Jack McBrayer), the "good guy" star of their game who always gets to save the day. One day, after decades of doing the same thing and seeing all the glory that comes from Felix, Ralph decides he's tired of playing the role of the bad guy. He takes things into his own big hands and sets off on a game-hopping journey across the arcade through every generation of video games to prove he's got what it takes to be a hero. On his journey, he meets the tough Sergeant Calhoun (Jane Lynch) from the first-person action game, Hero's Duty. But it's the feisty, misfit, Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) from the candy-coated cart racing game, Sugar Rush, whose world is threatened when Ralph accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens the entire arcade. After that happens Ralph tries to save the day before its too late, but did he do it? (watch the movie to find out:) This movie is a rated PG, 1 hour and 32 minute long movie. It is a Animation, Comedy, and Kids and Family type of movie. This movie that came out in theaters November the 2nd is directed by Rich Moore. The weekend gross for this movie was $49.0M. Movie: The Details
After ten years of marriage, Jeff and Nealy Lang (Tobey Maguire and Elizabeth Banks) have an idyllic suburban home and a relationship that isn't doing too well. But, when a family of hungry raccoons ransacks their perfect backyard, Jeff becomes single-mindedly obsessed with destroying the pests by any means necessary. Soon the relentless rodents aren't merely uprooting the lawn, but also overturning the Langs' entire existence, as the man-versus-beast battle leads into a mess of infidelity, extortion, organ donation, and other craziness. This movie is a rated R, 1 hour and 31 minute long movie. It is totally a comedy type of movie. This movie came out in theaters November the 2nd, and is a limited movie. This movie is also directed by Jacob Aaron Estes. The theater average is $18.5M. This movie seems like a very funny movie, but it seems to crazy for me.
